Ron Fenn (NEW)

Ron Fenn - The Royale Studio Model with a striking appearance and a taste for leather.

Ron Fenn by Royale Studio

Ron Fenn was a significant contributor to Royale's catalogue, appearing in 3 storyettes between 1959-60, in which he played the 'tough guy'. It was a persona he seemed to have cultivated, as witness the leather and whip in the image above, plus a facial scar and tattoos on chest and forearm. He actually looks rather homely in front of the camera here, but in the storyettes he does come across as rugged and square-jawed, ideally cast.

The beefcake mags don't seem to have taken to him, perhaps shying away from the leather connection, but whatever the reason, I haven't been able to find a single solo image of him amongst them, but he is seen in a spread for 'The Wallet' in Man Alive 4.
