| David Trood by Royale Studio (in Vim, Nov 1960) |
This
elegant pose of David Trood was snapped by Royale in 1960, but, surprisingly, it's the only image we have of him apart from one showing him in a fight with Ron Fenn in 'Thief' 18 months earlier. I haven't found any other
pictures by this name in the beefcake archive I use (Source 9).
I have speculated that this might actually be a picture of David Tompkins (in his solo set article), the date and the model's appearance above are both a better fit with him than they are with the 'Thief' storyette. Royale also had a model called Reg Trood, but he was much earlier, in 1958.
