35 Fred Collins & John Skilling Wrestle (Jun 1958)

 

 The image above is the earliest reference I have found to this set of Fred Collins and John Skilling wrestling, partly in the nude, by Royale Studio. It appeared in an advertisement placed in Body Beautiful No 2 in June 1958 which makes it one of the earliest recorded Royale 'storyettes' and something of a pathfinder in the beefcake wrestling genre, especially since the models are nude for some shots. Three other sets were promoted in the same ad, but this was the only one which was not given an ordering reference code*, suggesting that it was recently photographed, but not yet available to buy. 

*The ad didn't provide names, but John Skilling's distinctive profile is easily recognisable and the flurry of hair belonging to his partner is typically Fred. There's no record of Skilling wrestling with any other model.

Royale Studio Catalogue Description for FJWR

We only know the catalogue description was published sometime in 1958. It does not add much information, except that there were 10 pictures in the set. The Open Archive has found 7 of them.
