Ron Wiltshire

Ron Wiltshire, Royale Studio's versatile body-builder
wrestler  and storyette villain.

Ron Wiltshire in 'Model Man' Summer 1961

Ron Wiltshire was introduced by Royale as being a paratrooper, but he was also a bona-fide body builder with substantial bulk, which can be seen dramatically contrasted with Peter George's lean elegance in 'The Captive'. He went on to become a professional wrestler.

He did several solo sets for Royale and Dolphin/Hussar Studios and appeared in many storyettes, often in a villainous or CP 'punisher' role, wielding cane, cat o'nine tails or whip on different occasions.

Ron Wiltshire's Storyettes

Ron Wiltshire's first two 'storyettes' appeared in 1959. 

They had fairly dark, fetish themes.

Both featured Peter George as his antagonist.

WHIP (aka Whip Duel) 1959, R38  

This set appeared in Catalogue List 8 (July 1959). 

The thumbnail shows Peter George on his knees whipping Ron Wiltshire.

Pictures from it are few and far between. 

This storyette may have played an important role in the later development of Royale Studio. 

The Captive (CAPT) 1959, R46 

From Royale's Catalogue List No 9 (Oct 1959). 

Peter George undergoes corporal punishment at the hands of Ron Wiltshire in 3 different scenarios - as a naked Roman Slave (as shown left), as a Regency buck in tights and in a modern military setting in white shorts.

Peter's utter nudity and vulnerability in the catalogue illustration is stark and quite daring for the time.

Ron appears in the rare 'back-stage' image of Basil Clavering himself working with 3 of his models on set (ca1959). You can easily spot him in at the left end of the line-up in spotted trunks. Possibly taken when the Lamprill-Urgay wrestling set was photographed.
