Tibor Urgay by Royale

Tibor Urgay was one of a number of Hungarian nationals on the Royale roster, possibly the first of their models to get the full star treatment. His 'baby face' looks belied an impressively developed, bulky physique and there's no doubt he was very popular. He appeared in several Royale storyettes and sets. There's an impressive number of solo poses surviving (including some taken by other British studios) but details of his storyettes are thinner on the ground.

Tibor appears in the rare 'back-stage' image of Basil Clavering himself working with 3 of his models on set (ca.1959). You can easily spot him at the right of the trio. Possibly taken when the Lamprill-Urgay wrestling set (see above) was photographed.
