Alan Adair - Clavering's Last Fling at Royale Studio?

Little is known about this model. He seems to have been recruited by Clavering in Royale's last few months, headlining ads in Tomorrow's Man in February 1962 and again in June that year. I believe this to be Royale's last advertisement.

The ad copy describes there being a (sensational!) list of storyettes featuring this model, the detail appears to suggest that there were 3, but the Archive has only unearthed one to date, the 'Rigging' set. 

The offer in the ad itself is far from clear. The model was an unknown and not shown in the ad, nor was he featured in the body of the magazine, as was the usual practice, so Clavering was asking customers to pay a substantial sum of money (equivalent to $55 or £40 today) for an completely unknown product. The detail of the offer itself is confusing. What are the 3 catalogues on offer? What is the difference between a catalogue and an illustrated list, which seems to be separate? What does 'both lists' mean?  It suggests Clavering was not able to spare enough time from his day job as a cinema manager to properly run Royale on his own.

 The identity of the model was finally cleared up in 1967, by an entry in the Grecian Guild Studio Quarterly, 'Hussar Retrospective' issue, No 22. They printed the image at the top of this post on p13 and provided his name on the index page.
